WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY TRUCK!! I have a 2006 Ford F250 Superduty, 6liter PSD. It had 26,000 miles on it when I bought it in Feb. 2010. I was getting 11plus to 12plus MPG. No matter if it was city or highway. I am now getting 14plus city and 16plus highway! That translates to 100 mile increase per tank! Hard to believe. I also got the added bonus of increased performance, acceleration, and throttle response. This all seems too good to be true, but I am becoming convinced. The truth is with the added performance, my foot has become a little heavier, which makes the MPG even more impressive. I've put 15,000 miles on my truck since I got it and used another additive. The difference is remarkable! After using XPD for one month I'm sold on it and won't use anything else. Hopefully it will also stop future problems with EGR valves, injectors, and turbo. Time will tell, but it is a great product.
I had to send this letter to you because of my outstanding experience with your XPD product. I am just a private 05, F-350, 6.0 Powerstroke diesel truck owner, unlike your many large companies you supply. I started a search for the best diesel fuel additives about two months ago due to a "fuel study" that was conducted, and I found on the internet. The study was a bit of a read, but very interesting. I had found, per the study that Opti-lube was the highest rated additive, above all the "old school" additives that I had tried before, me being a large over the road truck driver for some time. So I ordered a couple gallons and started running it. Within a few minutes of putting XPD in a full tank of fuel, and running the motor to operating temperature, I heard the motor quiet down in the driveway!!!. Just so happens, I was about to leave on a 200 mile trip to visit family. I not only noticed a performance increase in regards to throttle response, but my trucks computer was telling me the MPG was increased also. Knowing not to trust the onboard computer because of it being consistently wrong (Sorry Ford) I started a MPG Log with every tank fill-up. I am at 13 tanks, and averaging a .7 to .9 mile per gallon increase in MPG by doing the math.(miles driven divided by gallons pumped) By those numbers, your product is paying for itself !!! and providing the needed lubrication in my fuel system, per the fuel study. So Thank You Opti-Lube for developing such a product for the vehicle owner, the economy is hitting us all hard, your XPD is helping me get some back.
Hello again Opti-Lube. I had to write you again concerning your XPD product. I have been running this additive for about 2 1/2 years now and still love its MPG gains along with peace of mind. Even more so now due to the fact I just had some repairs to my 05 F-350 Powerstroke that involved removing some of the fuel system to facilitate other repairs. The ASE mechanic stated, that obviously I was running an fuel additive, and asked, "Please tell me what it is" We talked of your product, and my experiences with it. He was amazed by the condition of the fuel system lines, seals, and fittings. He stated, he has seen worse in newer diesel vehicles due to the poor quality and or the unregulated quality diesel fuel that is available. I have got three of my friends to use your product by proving its increases in MPG and lubrication qualities, Now there is a mechanic in my area promoting the same due to his hands on and visual findings, along with my conversation with him. I still have the same opinion after running your product for some time, and I have never had a fuel related problem in 120K!. I know of others that have, But they don't run Opti-Lube. Besides, if you do the math,,,,,your product costs nothing,,,,,It pays for itself in MPG gains, and really,,,, peace of mind knowing you are using a quality product to battle what the fuel companies can not be consistent with in regards to quality fuel. I am writing this letter to inform you of the benefits we have received by using your Opti-Lube grease. Since we purchased the Grease from you several months ago, we have used it in our lube bay to grease everything from front end and suspension components to pivot pins all over the trash trucks. Our trucks constantly have severe wear and galling problems due to the use that they see on a daily basis. Opti-Lube Grease has substantially decreased virtually all of these problems since we started using it. We are now getting almost twice the life out of front end and suspension components. We no longer have to replace wear bushings and pins in our hydraulic cylinders and carriages every few months.
As a result of the decreased maintenance, we have saved a considerable amount of money on parts and repairs. I would recommend that anybody wanting to save money and extend the life of their equipment economically, use your product anywhere lubrication is required.

On October 29, 1997, our steam locomotive developed a hot bearing on the #2 axle on the fireman's side. After cleaning the axle and bearing, we made the switch to your Opti-Lube block grease. The number two axle is running much cooler, and other axles which ran at about 120 degrees now run much cooler with your grease, and grease consumption is considerably lower on the entire engine.

My company, Antech Resources & Consulting, is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the steam locomotive owned and operated by Alberta Prairie Steam Tours at Stettler, Alberta. These passenger excursions can be up to 120 miles return with trains as long as 12 cars, weighing more than 900 tons.
The locomotive is a small 1920 Baldwin 2-8-0 consolidation weighing 114 tons including tender. The driving axles are equipped with 'Franklin' grease cellars. Main and side rods have brass bearings throughout. We were having trouble with the journals, and even some of the drive rods, running warmer than they should at times, regardless of the grease we used or how often we greased.
Last season we used your block grease in the cellars and in the rod brasses. We did not have a hot journal reported throughout the entire season. Some of the engine crews did not grease at all on the run, even on the longest trip.

Just a note to let you know that we are very pleased with the Opti-Lube Oil Fortifier and Opti-Lube grease you supply us. The Opti-Lube Oil Fortifier has helped us reduce wear in our B & W Pulverizer gear boxes and both temperature and amperage on the 600 HP motor that drives these gear boxes have been reduced (amperage was reduced by 4 amps). We have also used the Oil Fortifier in our lube oil system on our FD & PA fans. Your Grease reduces heat and amps on precipitator seal air fans to the point that you could touch the bearing housing, before adding the Grease you could not do this. Amperage on these motors dropped 4 amps.

Dear Opti-Lube, II’ve been meaning to write this letter for a long time. As I’ve told you before, OptiLube is a great product. My ’99 Ford Powerstroke was on an oil consumption test with Ford, but because it didn’t use more than a quart per 1000 miles, they would do nothing (it averaged a quart every 1500 miles). I then started to use your product at approximately 22,000 miles. The engine was so quiet afterward I thought that it had stopped halfway home. What really impressed me was the fuel mileage, which went up 10% to 15%. The oil use also stopped. II also use your fuel additive which increased my mileage about 10%. I noticed this the most when I ran out and made a 1200 mile trip across country. My mileage dropped 3-4 mpg without your additive. I now use OptiLube in all my trucks-gas or diesel. I only wish you made a gas additive to help my mileage on the gas engines.

To Whom It May Concern: We began using Opti-Lube products two years ago and would like to report the results: Power to the wheels has significantly increased to the point we set a new track record in Phoenix, Arizona. Our engine rebuilds have been extended from every 600 laps to every 1200 laps, showing engine wear has been decreased by at least 50%. Transmissions and differentials are operating significantly cooler, plus we have not had a single component failure since we started using the product. Our old wheel bearing grease would get hot and melt out of the bearing area, causing bearing failure. I have been a member of the Rio Grande Region of the SCCA for 5 years. I have been the DSP champion for the last 3 consecutive years. I have been using Opti-Lube for the past 10 years in all my vehicles and started using it in my race car 5 years ago. The first time I used it in my car I noticed a 300 RPM increase when added with a new oil change. My car runs cooler, and has faster acceleration. In the past, I have used several other oil additives but nothing compares to the performance and protection of the engine as well as Opti Lube. I am a firm believer in this product and would not race without it.
I recently purchased your XPD treatment for my new VW diesel. After doing quite a bit of research, I've found that all the major manufacturers of high pressure injection pumps for common rail diesels have concerns regarding scarring from low lubricity in the fuel. I'm not the type to take to reading about premature failure lightly, so I decided to become proactive about the situation. After reading a few reviews including the test done by the Duramax guys, I decided to go with the XPD. I added the XPD supplement at ½ ounce per gallon as recommended to a new fuel tank and fired it up. The difference was almost instant and totally amazing. The injection pump is now nearly silent, the throttle response is smoother and not that I had any complaints before but a 7 mpg improvement is always nice. I highly recommend this product to anybody with a modern common rail diesel, especially those with the VW/Audi 2.0 TDI as the injector pump is lubricated by fuel alone. You have a customer for life now. I have to admit, not that frequent of one as a gallon of your product will last me 12000 miles.

This is just to inform you that since my friends and I have started
using the XPD Diesel Fuel Additive in our big trucks we have noticed 0.5 mpg
increase in our mileage on the long haul between Edmonton, AB to Vancouver,
BC, through the mountains pulling Super B (140,000lb G.V.W.) and
Tridem(102,000lb G.V.W.) trailers.
Your product is the first product that we have tried in the last twelve
years of using additives that has quieted the truck noticeably and improved
the mileage. Other truck drivers have told me that it costs about $250 a
month to run the XPD in their trucks but the fuel savings is roughly $1,200
to $1,500 per month at a dollar per litre for fuel. That is pretty amazing
when you consider the benefits of increased lubrication and less vibration
through the drivetrain. I strongly recommend the use of this product in for
anyone working in the trucking industry. You will notice the difference in

Dear Opti-Lube, I just wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for making Opti-Lube XPD available. I drive a 2008 Dodge Sprinter Van on short haul light load delivery routes. The Sprinter has a turbo charged Mercedes diesel engine. After about 7000 miles I started having problems with soot buildup in my exhaust emissions valve. The check engine light would come on and I would have to take it to Dodge to have the problem resolved. The resolution involves a “regen” process that has the engine running at high rpms until the exhaust manifold temperature reaches a certain point and allows the system to blow out the accumulated soot. This takes about two hours and I had to have this done three times within a month. This was all covered under warranty. But Mercedes “strongly” recommends that after two regens the oil needs to be changed. I believe this is because of how hot the engine gets while doing the regen process as the vehicle is not moving and essentially the oil gets cooked. An oil change for one of these trucks is over $300. After paying for an oil change 7000 miles before I needed one I started looking for a solution to this reoccurring problem. I found Opti-Lube XPD through one of the studies done on diesel additives and decided to try it out. I have been using 8 oz. When I fill up; usually about 17-18 gallons. I have not had a re-occurrence of the emissions problems since I began using Opti-Lube XPD about 5 months ago. I keep meticulous records on my fuel cost and gas mileage, so I was very happy when I also noticed that my gas mileage went from 19 miles per gallon to just over 22 miles per gallon. The increased gas mileage more than covers the cost of buying and using your product. For me Opti-Lube is a no brainier.

Jim, Just wanted to let you and OPTILUBE know that we have found an additive that we can be comfortable with in using in our trucks and tractors. We have a small hay farm in central VA we started about 4 years ago and it has been tough getting started in this economy. We have 2 diesel pickups and 3 diesel tractors and all of them get worked pretty hard. We have tried at least 6 or more different additives to try and help performance and economy and hopefully longevity of the equipment. The best test we had was this winter when we had 2+ feet of snow, 25 mph winds and wind chills around zero. I was not satisfied with our current additive and ordered the XPD. I used it in our trucks and saw that starting was easier, less start up smoke, and an average gain of .5 miles to the gallon. I then added it to our 80 hp tractor that before did not want to start and would smoke for a long period of time until it got warm in the current weather, but after it got in the system the tractor changed. The next mourning the wind chill factor was about -5 deg and we needed to plow more snow, the tractor started much easier and only smoked a fraction of the time. We have since added it to the rest of our tractors and saw the same results. We have since treated our fuel storage tank and will continue to run XPD in all of our trucks and equipment. I was so impressed with the XPD that I ordered the Oil Fortifier and added it to all 5 diesels. I hope I will be able to write in the future with findings of good results for it as well.

TOPIC: Report on Opti-Lube On 5/16 a rebuilt 11CDL Gardner Denver Blower was put into service. The oil temperatures on the inboard end were 207 degrees F, and 190 degrees on the outboard side. After running the blower overnight, we shut it down and added the recommended amount of Opti-Lube Oil Fortifier in both the inboard and outboard bearing carriers. The blower ran for four hours and temperatures were checked again. Inboard was at 191 degrees F and outboard was at 179 degrees F, a significant drop. With a temperature drop of this much, the bearings and oil should see an increased life span. All temperatures were taken with a laser thermometer, with ambient air temperature of 54 degrees F to 56 degrees F. On another application two seal air fans were rebuilt. On one fan we used our standard grease on the bearings, on the other we used Opti-Lube grease. The fan with the Opti-Lube grease was pulling 8-10 amps less than the fan with regular grease. More recently, a B&W FD blower gearbox, powered by a 10,000 horsepower motor, had the lubrication pump fail. Because the oil had been treated with Opti-Lube, there was no damage incurring to this gearbox, saving our company in excess of $500,000. We are now using Opti-Lube lubricants throughout the power plant, and have been very pleased with the wear reduction and energy savings. Due to my observations, I would strongly recommend Opti-Lube for any lubrication application where long life and money savings are in issue.

I saw my best ever fuel economy with Opti-Lube this last tank. In 107,000 miles, my best ever fuel economy was 15.9 mpg in my K3500 Duramax powered Silverado. I can assure you I was driving for high mileage each of those times. This last tank was driven in cool air, on a smooth highway, with a mix of some city driving on each end of my commute. I achieved 17.65 mpg. That is an 11% increase over my best fuel economy. I look forward to driving a tank on "all highway" driving. I hope to break 18mpg, which would be fantastic in a 1-ton dually pickup. I am grateful that you make such a great product. I plan to use it from now on in my pickup truck. I'll be making a few other changes to enhance my fuel economy. Feel free to use me as a reference. I've I'd used this from the beginning, I would be able to drive 11,000 miles farther on the amount of fuel I've purchased. That's about $2500 dollars in fuel. I will be ordering a barrel of your product when my present supplies run out.

I recently purchased your Oil Fortifier and would like to inform you of my findings. I own a 1971 AM General Multi Fuel M35A2 (Deuce and a half). Last night I did my first oil change with it and I would like to tell you and your company, your product is wonderful. You wouldn't believe the differences it made almost immediately. The engine takes 22 quarts of oil, so I added one quart and it made a world of difference.
After changing the oil, I started the truck and let it warmup for 10 minutes. In a deuce, you need to wait for the engine temp to get to 120 degrees before running it. I waited 10 minutes and checked the temp. It normally takes my engine about 10 minutes to get to 150 degrees on a warm summer day. When I checked the engine, the temp wasn't above 140. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes and then took it out. The truck seemed to drive as normal but the temps on the engine were considerably lower than normal and took much longer to get to 160. We decided to try some hills and grades with the truck. Right from the beginning of climbing the hill, I noticed a horsepower increase. The bottle says up to 15% increased horsepower. I am a skeptic (like most) and I am a complete believer that it made a noticeable difference. I start climbing hills I normally do and not only did I not have to downshift, but I noticed that I had to back off the throttle to keep from redlining. Not only was the power an increase, it took a very long time to get about 180 degrees in the truck. Mind you the truck was on a constant grade of over 7 percent the entire 3 mile incline and I only had to downshift one time because the grade went to over 25 percent. I am very thrilled with this product. Not only did it make a difference in everything I mentioned, but it also made the engine more quiet. I have a whistler turbo and the truck is extremely loud!! No muffler! At the end of the run, I was letting the truck cool down before powering down, I noticed that the engine itself was quieter.
I wish I had more actual statistical data to back my findings, but based on other peoples observations and findings, I have noticed the same findings they have.
I also purchased some XPD Fuel improver and have not emptied my current tank, but i plan on doing this next week. When that happens, I will let you know what the findings are. If I get the same results as others are getting, I will be ecstatic with the difference in not just fuel economy and horsepower, but the improved lubrication. The resolution involves a “regen” process that has the engine running at high rpms until the exhaust manifold temperature reaches a certain point and allows the system to blow out the accumulated soot. This takes about two hours and I had to have this done three times within a month. This was all covered under warranty. But, Mercedes “strongly” recommends that after two regens the oil needs to be changed. I believe this is because of how hot the engine gets while doing the regen process as the vehicle is not moving and essentially the oil gets cooked. An oil change for one of these trucks costs over $300. After paying for an oil change 7,000 miles before I needed one I started looking for a solution to this reoccurring problem. I found Opti-Lube XPD through one of studies done on diesel additives and decided to try it out. I have been using 8 oz. when I fill up; usually about 17-18 gallons. I have not had a re-occurrence of the emissions problems since I began using Opti-Lube XPD about 5 months ago. I keep meticulous records on my fuel cost and gas mileage, so I was very happy when I also noticed that my gas mileage went from 19 miles per gallon to just over 22 miles per gallon. The increased gas mileage more than covers the cost of buying and using your product. For me Opti-Lube XPD is a no brainer. Thanks again for developing this wonderful product.
